Construction Programme Manager, Permanent, Salary up to £52,000, Hybrid
Your new company
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Programme Manager to join our clients' team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will assist the Design and Construction team in maintaining and developing various workstreams to deliver against program aims. This role involves engaging and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders, overseeing the delivery of a major £500m+ project.
Your new role
As the Construction Programme Manager you will:
• Produce, manage, and process all formal documentation for each RIBA stage of the project(s).• Coordinate, manage, and deliver defined complex projects within the programme, ensuring they are delivered within budget and to agreed timescales.
• Provide clear and comprehensive project highlight reports detailing status, progress, key risks, key issues, and delivery trajectory to all relevant stakeholders.
• Champion project management best practices and methodologies, ensuring alignment with national standards and policies.
• Lead and facilitate meetings, including project team meetings, stakeholder groups, and programme boards, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among all parties involved.
• Serve as a key liaison between the organisation and external partners, including contractors and third-party organisations, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Employ advanced negotiation, motivational, and conflict resolution skills to address and resolve issues that arise during project implementation.
• Keep all managers up to date with project progress.
What you'll need to succeed
As the successful candidate you will have;
• Proven experience in construction project management.• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Advanced negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with national standards and policies in project management.
• A strong knowledge of relevant construction-related health and safety legislation
Desirable
• Ideally a construction project management qualification or membership
• Public sector / clientside or consultancy experience
• Experience of working on large £100m+ construction programmes
What you'll get in return
As the Construction Programme Manager, you'll be joining the team on a permanent basis with a salary of up to £52,000. You'll be able to work flexibly with remote working available, though you will need to be prepared to travel to site at least once per week.
