Infrastructure Project Manager - Data Centre Migrations - On-site Experience Required! London - £500 Umbrella
Your new role
We are looking for a highly skilled Project Manager to oversee a critical data centre migration project. This position involves closing an existing data centre and migrating all systems and services to a new location, including the provisioning of infrastructure, racks, power, batteries, and cabling. Applicants must have direct experience with on-site installation of data centre hardware.
What you'll need to succeed
Lead the end-to-end data centre migration project, ensuring that all timelines and deliverables are met.Oversee the decommissioning of the existing data centre, including infrastructure, racks, power, batteries, networking, and cooling systems.
Has experience with on-site installation.
Manage the setup and provisioning of the new data centre location.
Coordinate with international virtual teams to ensure a seamless migration and setup process.
Manage dependencies with development teams utilising the migrated environments
