Project Manager, Electrical Switchgear, Dungannon

Your new company is a leading player in the electrical industry, specialising in the design and manufacture of high-quality LV Switchgear. Established in 2012 and headquartered in Northern Ireland, this company has built a strong reputation for delivering premium systems and products. With a significant portion of their business stemming from export orders, they have a broad reach throughout the UK, Ireland, and beyond.

Your new role will see you taking charge of the full lifecycle of electrical switchgear and control panel projects, from initiation to completion. You will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of these projects, ensuring they align with customer specifications and business objectives. Your role will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and quality assurance, to ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required specifications. You will also be responsible for providing technical oversight, managing budgets, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

What you’ll need to succeed is a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within electrical switchgear, control panel, or related industry. You should have strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, switchgear, and control panels, as well as a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. Excellent leadership and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to manage cross-functional teams and solve problems effectively. Proficiency in project management software tools and Microsoft Office applications is also required.

What you’ll get in return is a competitive salary commensurate with your experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package. You will be working in an office environment with occasional visits to manufacturing and warehouse facilities, and there may be occasional travel to customer locations and industry events. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable company and make a significant impact on their continued success.
