Job Title: Purchase Ledger Clerk

Your new role:
As a Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will play a crucial role in the finance team, ensuring the smooth processing of invoices and payments. Your responsibilities will include,
- Matching purchase orders to invoices and posting to the accounting ledger.
- Assist in query resolutions including liaising with administrators/suppliers.
- Perform weekly automated invoice matching run.
- Assist in preparation of reports to local management team
- Ensure the finance inbox is monitored, and action is taken as required.
- Ensure all supplier/subcontractor reconciliations are completed on time.
- Update the monthly balance sheet reconciliations file as required.
- Provide any financial analysis as required.
- Assist in the internal/external audit where appropriate.
- Any other ad-hoc finance work as directed by the Management Accountant.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Able to work quickly and accurately and under own initiative.
- Proven track record of meeting tight monthly deadlines in a very busy environment
- A high level of understanding around financial processes.
- Excellent data analysis skills and intermediate excel skills are necessary.
- Ability to communicate financial information to a non-finance audience.
- Microsoft Navision/Dynamics experience would be an advantage but not essential.
