We are currently working with Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council Children Services, as they are looking to increase their team of Social Workers within their MASH and Assessment team.

Your new role

As a Qualified Social Worker within a fast-paced team, you will undertake duty and assessments and will be required to support the team in responding to referrals relating to children within the Solihull area. As a Qualified Social Worker, you will work with colleagues and managers across Solihull to share and promote good practice. You will need to be happy and be able to travel across Solihull independently on scheduled visits, have excellent communication skills, and feel comfortable picking up new and existing cases. You must also demonstrate a sound knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and guidance and be on duty 1 week in every four. Complete assessments
under section 17 and Section 47 alongside child impact reports (similar to section 7 reports).
