Receptionist, temporary contract, Durham

Your new company

An organisation based in Durham is recruiting a receptionist to join their team on a temporary basis. You must be immediately available to start.

Your new role

You will be responsible for meeting and greeting visitors, ensuring the office environment is maintained to a high standard. Duties will include...

  • Answering all incoming calls and re-routing or taking messages where necessary.
  • Meeting and greeting all visitors/clients on arrival at reception.
  • Ensuring the smooth running of all office operations
  • General administration including collating and distributing mail, maintaining postage and courier arrangements, photocopying, scanning documents, filing, archiving, managing office supplies
  • Supporting the organisation with company meetings
  • Assisting in the processing of invoices, coordinating seating logistics across the office

What you'll need to succeed

You will have previous proven front of house experience. You must be able to work with a high energy level and have solid organisational abilities. You must work with a high degree of professionalism and be able to manage multiple priorities. You need to have exceptional written and verbal communication skills and have excellent time management skills.
