Are you on the search for your next permanent position within recruitment?

I am delighted to be supporting a growing organisation in the recruitment of a Recruitment and Onboarding Coordinator to join their HR function! This is a fantastic opportunity for a Recruitment Advisor (Resourcing Advisor) or a graduate who has at least 1 year in recruitment.

The role is located on site for 4 days with 1 day working from home as you will be working closely with hiring managers across the organisation located in County Durham. You will report to the HR Director and work closely with the team while driving continuous improvements.

Responsibilities include:
  • Support the full recruitment lifecycle, including drafting job descriptions, posting vacancies, and managing applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Coordinate candidate sourcing, screening, and shortlisting in collaboration with hiring managers.
  • Understanding the hiring managers' requirements
  • Scheduling interviews and interview panels
  • Overseeing compliance, right to work checks, Referencing
  • Assist with employer branding on external and internal; Website, Social media, recruitment campaigns
  • Supporting with the onboarding and induction process
  • Monitor probation periods, ensuring timely check-ins and feedback collection.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment and employee records in line with GDPR and company policies. Assist in the development and continuous improvement of recruitment and onboarding policies.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience in a recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR administration position

  • Knowledge of UK employment regulations

  • Good attention to detail and strong communication skills

  • Able to demonstrate the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with ATS or HR software.
