Seeking HR/Recruitment support for public sector organisation | Immediate start available

Your new company

Hays are working with a public sector organisation to appoint a Recruitment Officer to join their team on a temporary basis. This is initially a 3-3-month contract, with the possibility of extension.

Your new role

  • Support the HR team with end to end recruitment activities

  • Working with line managers to keep them up to date on the status of recruitment processes

  • Liaising with candidates to schedule interviews and provide offers and feedback

  • Preparing recruitment related paper work and ensuring that all documentation is accurate and compliant

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience working within an HR department

  • Previous experience with recruitment and/or HR administration

  • A sound understanding of recruitment best practice

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Previous experience with and HRIS (PAMS preferred but not essential)

What you'll get in return

  • £14.50 per hour

  • 3-month assignment with possibility of extending
