Scrum Master/Agile/Permanent/Sheffield/Hybrid

Your new company

A talented Scrum Master is required on a permanent basis for a reputable and growing public sector organisation based in Sheffield to champion Agile processes across the organisation.

Your new role

As a Scrum Master you will act as a champion for Agile principles by guiding teams to adopt and apply best practices, prioritising delivery over adherence to frameworks.
You will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups and retrospectives.You will also build strong, collaborative relationships with product owners, stakeholders, and team member to ensure alignment and mutual understanding.You will be an advocate for and facilitate Agile maturity across the organisation, offering training and support to foster a culture of growth and adaptability.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience working within Agile frameworks, within technology-focused teams.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire.
  • Experience of ensuring alignment within and between diverse teams and stakeholders, including third-party suppliers and offshore/blended teams.
  • Certified Scrum Master with recognised qualifications and a desire to keep learning.
  • Deep understanding of Scrum and Agile frameworks, with a track record of successful delivery within a scrum master (or similar) role.
