Large Software firm looking to add a new Security DevOps Engineer to their growing team

Overview:
An innovative, software development organisation is committed to delivering secure and scalable solutions. As part of this, they are seeking a highly skilled Security DevOps Engineer to join their growing team and help them enhance security of their application development and release management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cloud Management:
    Design, implement, and manage secure cloud infrastructure.
  • SDLC Integration:
    Integrate security practices into the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure secure by design principles are followed.
  • Risk Management:
    Identify, assess, and mitigate security risks within the business context.
  • Code Development and Testing:
    Collaborate with development teams to ensure secure coding practices and conduct security testing.
  • Library Updates:
    Regularly update and maintain third-party libraries and dependencies to mitigate vulnerabilities.
  • Awareness Framework:
    Develop and implement a security awareness framework to educate and train employees on security best practices.
  • Penetration Testing:
    Conduct regular penetration testing to identify and address security vulnerabilities.
  • Containerization:
    Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for secure container orchestration and management.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a Security DevOps role or similar position.
  • Strong expertise in cloud services.
  • In-depth knowledge of SDLC and secure by design principles.
  • Experience with risk management and mitigation strategies.
  • Proficiency in code development, security testing, and updating libraries.
  • Familiarity with security awareness frameworks and training programs.
  • Hands-on experience with penetration testing tools and methodologies.
  • Proficient in Docker and Kubernetes for container management.
