SEN Teaching Assistant - Early Years. MUST have recent experience. Full time. January start.

Your new company

Hays Education is working closely with a school in Coventry who are looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to work within the EYFS. This is a good school in Coventry with accessible transport links from across the city centre.

Your new role

You will be required to support within the EYFS on a full-time basis from January 2025. You will be required to support children with additional needs on a 1:1 and group basis, assist the class teacher, following lesson plans and arranging resources.

What you'll need to succeed

You must be an experienced teaching assistant in the EYFS (KS1 and KS2 are also advantageous). You will have experience or knowledge of how to support children with additional needs, including providing 1:1 support, encouraging positive behaviours and following EHCPs. You must have patience, be firm but fair and be a role model. You will be working with a range of children, including those with Autism and ADHD within the EYFS.
