SEND Support Assistant required for Mainstream Primary Schools Warrington

Your new role

As an SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing support to students with diverse learning needs. This may include complex physical needs, Autism, ADHD, Global Developmetal Delay, Speech and Language difficulties, Social Emotional and Mental Health difficulties.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Assisting students in the classroom, ensuring they can access the curriculum effectively.
  • Collaborating with teachers and other professionals to create tailored learning plans.
  • Supporting students with communication, behavior management, and personal care.
  • Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.


What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Experience working with students with SEND (either in a school setting or other relevant context).
  • A patient and empathetic approach.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
