Your new company

Hays Accountancy and Finance are representing a company going through a period of change within the finance team. Re-organisation of finance personnel requires some companies under the group to need an accountant for a short period of 3 months until all personnel are fully trained in their new roles.

Your new role

The role is to do the following:

• Month end accounts (5 working day cycle) – Start to Finish
  • Accruals
  • Prepayments
  • Fixed asset management and Depreciation
  • All month end journals
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Compilation of the month end pack
  • Reporting to Group the monthly accounts
• VAT and HMRC PAYE Returns
• Monitoring Sales and Purchase Ledger
• Payroll (Compiling company payroll information and working with 3rd party payroll suppliers to process monthly payroll)
• Overhead Variance analysis
• Sales reporting
• Ad hoc Costs and Sales reports when needed by senior management

Fully Qualified Accountant 5-8 Years PQE
