*** Senior Architect - Landmark NI Studio - Belfast - £Competitive (DoE) ***

Your new company

Hays Architecture & Design NI are proud to be working in collaboration again with one of the headline names in Architecture as they look for Senior Architects to join their team in key divisions as part of their continued growth. With a firmly established organisation and robust structure encompasses 80+ Designers across 4 UK offices, their Belfast Headquarters has been a flagship for their operations for over 40 years. Synonymous with Northern Irish Architecture for the duration of their tenure, they offer Technically Competent & Design-led Architects (and Technologists alike) the opportunity to showcase their talents on a platform that ensures visibility but also support. With these positions essential for the organic growth of the practice into key markets, these positions should appeal to those who feel stifled in their current position, or indeed keen on a fresh talent with an organisation who can help them get to the next stage of their career.

Your new role

With Aviation / Industrial and Healthcare earmarked as pivotal sectors with pipeline work and development, this practice are looking for experienced Architects to help develop target markets for their business. Applicants are expected to have job-running experience in the Aviation / Industrial (ie data-centre) project typologies, or indeed Healthcare. You should have demonstrable experience of leading design teams, chairing design meetings and mentoring junior staff - as well as keeping clear channels of communications between all parties involved, including contractors, senior internal colleagues and clients. You'll have a deep understanding of construction methodologies, design processes & technologies, specification and report writing and wider technical awareness. The wider duties & responsibilities will further include those commonly expected of a Senior Architect.

What you'll need to succeed

You'll be an ARB / RIAI registered Architect, with 10+ years Post-Qualification experience within practice. Ideally, you'll have intermediate Revit abilities, working knowledge of statutory approval processes and robust technical knowledge (including detailing & specification writing). You'll have a grasp of the latest Building Regulations / European Standards, and in general be comfortable with a Lead position on £multi-million projects within a busy, time-sensitive, consultancy environment, to entail site-facing responsibilities from time to time.

What you'll get in return

A full-time Senior Architect position with a headline-name Architectural Practice in Belfast, with opportunities to work in collaboration with their other offices across UK & Ireland. You'll receive a competitive package, avail of an extensive benefits list, but also embark on an upwards career trajectory with a Practice at the top of the Industry both locally and nationally.
