Permanent opportunity for a Senior/Building Surveyor at a Manchester based consultancy

Your new company

You will be working for a Manchester-based consultancy that was established in 2008. Operating on a national level and growing from strength to strength, they are now in a position to take on a Building Surveyor/ Senior Building Surveyor. The consultancy has a team of 13 surveyors that work on a variety of projects across commercial offices, industrial sheds, retail, education and residential sector projects. Based in Manchester city centre, they are easily commutable on public transport.

The consultancy works with multiple social housing organisations in the NW. This is an excellent opportunity for a Building Surveyor that works for a social housing provider, who is keen to move into the consultancy space. As well as delivering planned works schemes, PPM, you will also be responsible for providing clients with professional surveys including dilapidation, party wall matters, RAAC surveys, building condition. The consultancy can provide training on professional survey work if you do not have experience of this already. This is a great opportunity to diversify your skills and progress to become MRICS with the support of a team of experienced MRICS Surveyors.


What you'll need to succeed

You will have a minimum of 4 years' Building Surveying experience.
You will be experienced and well versed in contract administration.
Ideally you will have experience delivering Planned Works schemes for social housing providers, PPM, Defect Diagnosis, Cladding and Remediation, however this is not essential if you have worked for a commercial surveying practice.
Professional Survey experience is preferred but not essential, training will be provided if required.
