Senior Business Analyst - Openlink - £700pd inside IR35 via Umbrella - London location - Hybrid Working
Your new role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in Openlink applications, financial services, and regulatory reporting joining a dynamic commodities technology team based in London.
Key Responsibilities:
Gather, analyse, and document business requirements related to Openlink, commodities trading, and regulatory compliance.Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including trading desks, regulatory and compliance teams, and IT peers, to design and enhance business and reporting processes.
Lead the implementation and enhancement of our regulatory reporting framework to ensure compliance with new regulations and standards.
Conduct gap analysis and impact assessments to identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements and solutions.
Work closely with developers, QA teams, stakeholders, and various regulatory and compliance teams.
What you'll need to succeed
- Over 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial services and commodities trading, including precious metals.
- Extensive practical experience with Openlink applications and a deep understanding of deal modelling and the Openlink data model.
- Proficient in regulatory transaction reporting, with hands-on experience working with DTTC regulations such as CFTC, EMIR, FCA, MAS, HKMA, MIFID, and REMIT.
- Knowledgeable in Software Development Lifecycle methodologies.
- Advanced skills in SQL and Excel (Python is a plus).
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
