Senior Engineering Project Manager - Permanent - Established Contractor - Leicester - Water Projects
Your new company
You will be joining an established contractor based in Leicester operating in the water industry. This multi-accredited organisation has a strong pipeline of work with multiple major water providers across the country, including Severn Trent, and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Senior Engineering Project Manager to join their team.
This is a full-time office-based position with occasional site travel as and when required. Working hours are 37.5 hours per week with a half-day finish every Friday.
Your new role
As Senior Engineering Project Manager, you will be based primarily out of their Leicester office and your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and delivering projects from concept through to completion, ensuring all works are carried out safely, on time and within budget
- Developing and managing project schedules, resource plans and budgets
- Defining and recording project requirements
- Building and maintaining relationships with both client and external stakeholders
- Preparing detailed documents highlighting costs, schedules and technical specifications
- Managing project delivery teams.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you must have:
- Proven project management/engineering experience in the water industry (or other process industry)
- Construction management and construction skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Sound communication and interpersonal skills
- Full UK driving licence.
