Senior Finance Analyst | Blackburn | £35,000 - £40,000 | Office-based | Study Support

Your new company

I am working with a rapidly growing business, who have been established for over 20 years, based in Blackburn. Due to internal promotions, they are now seeking an experienced Finance Analyst to join their team on a permanent and full time basis, based from their head offices in Blackburn.

Your new role

As Senior Finance Analyst, you'll collaborate with a qualified Finance Manager on diverse projects such as system implementations, process and reporting improvements, finance modelling, and restructuring. Your responsibilities will include extracting and analysing data, developing reports using tools like Power BI and Power Query, tracking project progress with a project management tool, and managing stakeholder relationships. You will be involved in extracting and analysing data, building reports using VBA/Excel and Power BI, and supporting the daily operations of various projects. This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday with flexible working hours.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role as Senior Finance Analyst, you will have expertise in transformational finance, data extraction, and SAP, along with strong report-building skills. You will have three years of experience in general ledger or commercial finance roles. You will be a part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with a strong willingness to learn and develop. You will have experience in Microsoft Excel, excellent data management skills, and strong communication abilities.

What you'll get in return

In return for this, you will be offered a salary between £35,000 - £40,000 based upon your experience. This role will offer you development opportunities with a chance to increase your salary whilst progressing with your studies. You will be offered 33 days inclusive of bank holidays, flexible working with the option to start work between 7am-10am and finish between 3pm-6pm, an employee assistance programme and study support.
