Your new role

-Providing a professional advisory service to managers on a range of HR issues.
-Advising managers in the development, review, and implementation of departmental HR plans.
-Coaching and advising managers on implementing effective performance management practices and raising standards in line with organisational requirements.
-Assisting managers with long and short-term absences and employee grievances.
-Keeping updated on developments in HR and case-law, undertaking research and updating HR policies when relevant.
-Supporting the implementation of health and wellbeing initiatives.
-Monitoring the implementation of HR procedures across designated areas.
-Advising and supporting change programmes in partnership with senior managers.
-Participating in and representing HR at working groups & meetings, on an internal and external basis.

What you'll need to succeed

-Proven HR generalist experience

-Membership or associate membership of the CIPD

-Up-to-date knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
