Senior Management Accountant - £55000 - Trafford - Logistic Business

A leading, award-winning logistics company in the UK is on the hunt for a dynamic Senior Management Accountant to join their high-performing team in Manchester! You'll be reporting to an impressive Financial Controller who offers a clear and transparent career path, paving the way for you to become their next Finance Manager.

Your new role

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing management accounts and month-end reports for your region, including P&L, balance sheet, accruals, journals, and prepayments. Accurate and timely financial reporting is essential to support the region's overall financial health. Additionally, you will conduct financial analysis to provide insights and recommendations that drive strategic decision-making and business performance.

You will develop and manage budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring they align with the company's goals. Flexibility is key as you will handle ad hoc projects and collaborate with non-finance stakeholders to integrate financial considerations across the business. Identifying opportunities for cost reduction and financial efficiency is also crucial, as you will analyse current processes and expenditures to optimise costs and enhance the region's financial performance.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven Management Accounts skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems.
  • ACCA CIMA ACA, QBE
