I am actively recruiting for Senior Manager Global Pricing on behalf of a global pharmaceutical company, a market leader for ophthalmic pharmaceuticals with operations in over 60 countries and regions. Your primary responsibilities would encompass the oversight and strategic guidance of price-related initiatives in collaboration with various internal functions. From establishing preliminary target price ranges for pipeline products in their early stages to efficiently managing pricing post-market exclusivity loss, the role is instrumental in maximising product value and ensuring enhanced patient accessibility to their offerings.
The job holder will be part of the global Pricing & Market Access (GPMA) team and located in the UK. They will be responsible to represent the pricing perspective in the collaboration with the cross-functional team on global level (incl. Finance, Marketing, Commercial, etc.) as well as with the regional pricing teams across the regions.
Develop and Implement Global Pricing Governance Framework
Price Database Implementation:
Work x-functionally and lead the implementation and maintenance of a robust global pricing database, ensuring it covers all assets in key defined regions and markets.
Develop and maintain a regular and dynamic price reporting framework and generate regular reports for accurate pricing insights and quality business decisions.
Standardisation of Governance Processes:
Streamline workflows and approval processes for pricing, collaborating cross-functionally with global and regional finance, PMA, marketing, commercial, legal to establish an end-to-end pricing framework.
Lead and support Business Cases for IPC (International Pricing Committee) meetings.
Global-regional-local Integration:
Support the implementation of proper pathways with regional/local PMA teams for seamless price and access management.
Stakeholder Relationship Management
Internal Collaboration:
Work closely with internal stakeholders, including Regional/Local PMA, Finance, and Commercial members, to align pricing strategies and initiatives.
External Communication:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders such as pricing authorities, academia, and partnership companies.
Develop and execute communication plans to ensure clear and effective information exchange.
Develop and Implement Price Strategies and Price Decisions
Develop strategies and lead Implementation of Pricing Solutions:
Develop analytics-based strategies and lead the implementation of comprehensive pricing solutions to ensure smooth initiation and execution of the pricing framework, leveraging data-driven insights.
Pipeline Pricing and Forecasting:
Support the development of pipeline pricing plans and mid to long-term price forecasts, securing management approval.
Innovation and Insight Sharing:
Explore and initiate innovative pricing approaches, informed by current pricing policies and future trends.
Share insights and recommendations with internal and external stakeholders.
Proven x-functional project management experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
Excellent data analysis and insight generation skills and consulting background is a plus.
Matured skills using PPT, Excel, experience in using a global price management system.

Base salary up to £80k.
Office location – Salisbury. Travel TBC. There would be WFH flexibility.

What you'll need to succeed
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare sciences, Business, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.Proven x-functional project management experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
Excellent data analysis and insight generation skills and consulting background is a plus.
Matured skills using PPT, Excel, experience in using a global price management system.
