Our client, a leading Lloyd's Insurance Broker, is looking for a Senior Reinsurance Claims Technician to join their organisation. They are a rapidly growing Lloyd's Insurance Broker, and they are now looking for a Senior Reinsurance Claims Technician to hit the ground running in their new role.

In your new role you will be expected to provide support in the broking of Reinsurance Claims, analyse/evaluate and process the excess of loss, proportional and facultative reinsurance claims dependent on specific contract terms and guidelines, analyse, and evaluate contract wordings to assist when considering the coverage of contentious claims.

You will need to liaise with reinsurers regarding claims queries, maintain follow-up records and review claim files, maintain reports, spreadsheets and other related business material as required, and you will need to assist brokers and senior management with the preparation of claim data for client presentations.

The ideal candidate will have in depth Reinsurance Claims experience within the Lloyd's of London Reinsurance market, confident knowledge of the London market and a working understanding of systems like ECF/Class.

You will need to have excellent communication skills in both written and verbal, and you will need to be proficient in using Microsoft Office. Basic knowledge of proportional, excess of loss and facultative reinsurance contracts is essential, a high degree of technical knowledge is very important as our client typically works with cases that are of a highly complex nature, and you will need to be someone who can identify problems and adopt creative means of solving them.
