Your new role
The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for technical leadership of a small but growing team of software developers who are creating these new software systems and tools. There is a mix of near-real-time software for data acquisition systems and non-real-time software for data processing systems and analytical tools.
What you'll need to succeed
- A good technical degree in a relevant field, for example in electronic or software engineering or computer science.
- Ability to design, implement and test embedded software.
- Experience working with real time or near real time sensing hardware, communication devices and data acquisition systems, typically using C++, C#, .NET, Java.
- Experience of working with non-real time data processing and analysis systems, typically using Python, Java, C# or C++.
- Experience of cloud computing like AWS & Azure
- Strong skills in Agile software development practices.
- Strong documentation practices.
