Development Manager - ServiceNow - Remote Contract Opportunity

Your new company

Working for a Central Government Organisation on a ServiceNow project on a remote basis for an initial 6-month term.

Your new role

Working in the client's ServiceNow platform team, you will lead a team of developers and system administrators in the development, configuration and maintenance of applications built on ServiceNow's platform. You will manage and mentor a team of ServiceNow professionals, ensuring platform stability, scalability, and performance. Oversee daily operations, provide advanced technical support, and guide application development and integrations. Collaborate with stakeholders to implement best practices, identify process improvements, and enhance platform efficiency. Develop training programs, manage agile sprint efforts, and maintain comprehensive platform documentation, while effectively managing resources and schedules to meet demand

What you'll need to succeed

Proficient in ServiceNow development, administration, and support, with strong leadership and team management abilities. Skilled in analytical problem-solving, effective task prioritisation, and schedule management to ensure seamless workflows. Excellent communicator and collaborator, adept at engaging with stakeholders across all levels. Have or be willing to undergo SC clearance.

Course description
.NET is a Framework from Microsoft, introduced in 2001 that makes it easier to build applications that cross platforms and hardware. It does this by providing a consistent and powerful set of classes and interfaces that abstract away differences of architecture and allow developers to use the right languages and tools that work for them. A large base class library that includes features such as data and file access, user interface features, cryptography and more, opens up the power of the Windows operating system. The applications are run in a safe runtime engine called the CLR, which handles security, memory management, exception handling and more. In this course we will take a look at how the .NET framework is built and what you need to know to make the most of it.
Each LearnNowOnline training course is made up of Modules (typically an hour in length). Within each module there are Topics (typically 15-30 minutes each) and Subtopics (typically 2-5 minutes each). There is a Post Exam for each Module that must be passed with a score of 70% or higher to successfully and fully complete the course.

Prerequisites
This course assumes that students understand Visual C# 5.0 syntax, and have a basic understanding of the .NET Framework. No specific experience with Visual Studio 2013 is required.
