Your new role :

The Civil Site Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of civil engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and extensive technical knowledge in civil engineering.

  • Manage and supervise all on-site activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Conduct site surveys, setting out, and levelling.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or delays.
  • Ensure all materials and workmanship meet the required quality standards.
  • Implement and maintain health and safety protocols on site.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the construction team.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and as-built drawings.
What you'll need to succeed :
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role in the construction industry, with a focus on civil engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
  • Proficiency in using engineering software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project).
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various project sites.
