Hays Belfast are proudly recruiting on behalf of a renowned fit-out contractor and helping them in their search for an experienced Site Manager to join their workforce. They specialise in high-end interior fit outs across the UK and Ireland. With over 25 years in business and a reputation for excellence, they have completed over 5,000 projects globally. They offer a wide range of services, from design and manufacturing to project management, catering to clients in retail, logistics, hospitality, commercial, and leisure sectors. Your new role
- Planning and executing fit-out project activities to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinating with engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain seamless project execution.
- Managing project budgets and ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Developing and maintaining project schedules and timelines.
- Liaising with clients and stakeholders to provide project updates and address any concerns.
- Conducting regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Implementing risk management strategies and addressing any issues or delays promptly. This role involves travel around both North and South Ireland and potentially the UK, depending on project requirements.
What you'll need to succeed
A successful Site Manager should have previous experience managing similar high-end fit-out projects, demonstrating your ability to lead and deliver projects successfully. Relevant certifications and tickets, such as CSCS, SMSTS, SSSTS, or equivalent, are essential. Strong leadership and communication skills are critical, along with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team, ensuring project milestones are met and client expectations are exceeded, is also required.
