Your new role
This is a full-time long-term position working within Adults Social Care within Birmingham City Council. You will be working within a fast-paced team assessing safeguarding referrals. These may be for vulnerable individuals living at home or within care homes. The role will be Monday to Friday. It is a hybrid position, with 2 days a week being in the office. As part of this role, you may be required to carry out visits if deemed necessary to best investigate the concern.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you must have experience in adult social care and have a strong understanding of safeguarding concerns and have had exposure to the safeguarding process. You will also need to be aware of safeguarding legislation and how this underpins risk assessment.
