Social Care Facilitator Vacancy - Birmingham

Due to the partnership between Hays and Birmingham City Council, we are looking to recruit a Social Care Facilitator to join their Adults Safeguarding team. Your new role

This is a full-time long-term position working within Adults Social Care within Birmingham City Council. You will be working within a fast-paced team assessing safeguarding referrals. These may be for vulnerable individuals living at home or within care homes. The role will be Monday to Friday. It is a hybrid position, with 2 days a week being in the office. As part of this role, you may be required to carry out visits if deemed necessary to best investigate the concern.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you must have experience in adult social care and have a strong understanding of safeguarding concerns and have had exposure to the safeguarding process. You will also need to be aware of safeguarding legislation and how this underpins risk assessment.

You will be paid a competitive hourly rate and have a guaranteed long-term, full-time role until June 2025, with further opportunities for permanent opportunities. As a Hays contractor, you will have a dedicated consultant who will support you throughout the recruitment process as well as whilst you are at work.
