Your new company
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join an Adults Safeguarding Team on a temporary basis. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable adults, working closely with other professionals to provide comprehensive safeguarding services.
Your new role
- Conducting assessments and investigations into safeguarding concerns.
- Developing and implementing safeguarding plans.
- Liaising with multi-disciplinary teams, including health professionals, police, and other social care services.
- Providing support and advocacy for adults at risk.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Participating in case conferences and reviews.
What you'll need to succeed
- A degree in Social Work and registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in Adult safeguarding.
- Strong understanding of relevant legislation and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
