Systems Business Analyst - 6 months, £450pd, inside IR35, remote

Your new company and role

Hays' client is a public sector organisation which is seeking an experienced systems business analyst to join their Digital Delivery team.

You will be part of an established agile delivery team working to deliver a new back-office database and associated reporting applications.

This is a fast-paced, delivery-focused role where working independently whilst collaborating effectively within the wider team is key.


What you'll need to succeed


Essential Skills

  • Data Design and Modelling within an Oracle environment to support business requirements.

  • Proficiency in taking business requirements and transforming these into a technical solution.

  • Proficiency in documenting functional specifications.

  • Provide feedback on technical solutions and data models to business analysts and development teams.

  • Proficient in PL/SQL and SQL.

  • Proven experience in Oracle RDBMS database development. Design, develop and modify relational database objects, including Tables, View, Packages, Triggers and Indexes.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., MS DevOps).

  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

  • Understanding and experience with Agile methodologies.
