We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Health and Social Care to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality BTEC courses to our students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment, and contributing to the continuous improvement of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
Provide academic and pastoral support to students, encouraging their educational development and well-being.
Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments and best practices in teaching Health and Social Care.
Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
Participate in departmental meetings, parents’ evenings, and whole-school training events.

About You: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (ESSENTIAL)

A degree in Health and Social Care or a related field. Experience teaching BTEC Health and Social Care at Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for the subject.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
