Qualified IT Teacher - To start ASAP

IT Teacher – Nottinghamshire

Start date: ASAP
Subject: IT at KS3 & KS4
Timetable: Part-time role (Monday – Wednesday)

Hays are working in partnership with a 11-16 Secondary School in Nottinghamshire. The school are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated IT Teacher. This is a part-time role (0.6), teaching 3 days a week.

For this role, you will be experienced at teaching IT across Key Stage 3 and 4, including at GCSE. The role you will be covering includes year 10 iMedia, year 11 Enterprise, a small number of year 9 with general IT lessons as well as being a form tutor to a year 8 group. Previous experience of the Cambridge National qualification would be desirable but not essential.

To be successful you will need to

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ECT's welcome to apply.
Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
Recent experience teaching IT/Computer Science at secondary school level.
Strong behaviour/classroom management.
The ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members.
