The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children of all primary ages as this role will be across the whole school in KS1 and KS2.

Your new role
Hays Education have been approached by primary schools located in Warrington who are seeking to appoint Teaching Assistants to work within KS1 & KS2 as general Teaching Assistant support. These roles are due to start in April on a long-term basis and have the potential to carry on until the end of the academic year.
The role will be working 5 days a week, 8:30-3:30 term time only However, we are also considering part-time/job share options.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be required to
- Support the teacher to plan and deliver engaging activities that promote children’s learning and development in line with the curriculum.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and development.
- Ensure that the classroom is clean, tidy, and well-maintained at all times.
- Experience supporting children with SEND is beneficial but not essential.
What you'll need to succeed
To register with Hays, you must be passionate and driven, with a strong desire to be a successful teaching assistant. To register as a Teaching Assistant, you must meet the core criteria below:
- Experience supporting children, whether it be in an educational or alternative setting
- Experience working with children in the last 4 years (Volunteering and placements are accepted)
- Ideally qualified Level 2 or above, however those with experience can be offered further training
- ideally experience supporting children with SEND in education or a social care setting
