Primary school in Warwick is looking for a Year 2 Teacher on a FTC, full-time, starting in January 2024.

This large 2 form entry primary school, with lots of open space and situated just on the outskirts of Warwick, surrounded by an abundance of outside space, are working exclusively with Hays to fill a Year 2 maternity cover from January 2024. Your new role

Your new job as a Year 2 teacher will be working either 4 or 5 days a week. You will be responsible for taking on full class responsibility, including planning, preparation, marking and undertaking any assessments. The children within this class are all working at age-related expectations. The school uses a range of schemes including white rose and phonics bug.

This school is able to support ECT's, so it would welcome applications from newly qualified to more experienced teachers.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this new job, you must consider yourself to be able to build excellent relationships with children and staff. As this is a 2 form entry school, planning will be shared between the year group so collaboration is key. You must pride yourself on creating an enriched curriculum where children enjoy learning and thrive. Ideally, the school would like the teacher to start 15th December 2024 to have a 1 week handover with the current teacher due to go on maternity leave.
