Year 5 Teacher & English Lead
MPS/UPS + TLR 2A (£3,391)
Required from April or September 2025
Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School is a one form entry primary school based in Aston. We are a caring community which aims to promote a culture of respect and understanding. Our children are happy and love to learn, parents are supportive of the school and aspirational for their children.
Sacred Heart is part of The St John Paul II Multi Academy, a highly successful Catholic Multi Academy encompassing seven Primary School and two Secondary Schools. Our schools are based in Sutton Coldfield, Erdington and Aston.
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our supportive, dynamic and creative team as Class Teacher and English Lead. We are seeking an outstanding teacher with a passion for teaching, a love of learning and high expectations for all pupils.
The successful applicant will be part of the senior leadership team at Sacred Heart with responsibility for the leadership and development of the English Curriculum across the school. You’ll benefit from the support of experienced and committed senior colleagues and collaboration with English leaders across the Multi Academy. The school provides fully funded NPQ training, and this role is a great opportunity for a future leader to progress their career.
We are a forward-thinking school who value staff wellbeing. Our innovative timetabling allows for an early finish at lunchtime on Fridays for all staff, and we have recently introduced a new curriculum model, decreasing the planning and preparation workload on teachers and allowing a focus on delivery and adaptive teaching. Staff also have access to wellbeing benefits through the Multi Academy including private healthcare.
Visits to the school are welcome and encouraged, please get in touch to arrange this.
