Temporary ongoing role - Accounts Assistant 30–35 hours a week

Your new company
My client is a profitable company who are going through a lot of growth at the moment and are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to come and join their team. My client operates within the engineering sector.

Your new role
Duties include:
  • Working alongside the Accounts Manager, you will assist with processing, bookkeeping and accounts administration tasks in order to maintain the Company's financial records and liquidity status.
  • You will act as main freight and shipping liaison within the Company, arranging export shipping and completing paperwork for both exports and imports.
  • Matching invoices with delivery notes, checking against orders
  • Entering invoices on to the SAGE 50 purchase ledger and subsequent filing
  • Processing staff expenses and credit cards, preparing a list of payments and checking against monthly statements, including processing all company receipts appropriately.
  • You will be responsible for managing gas cylinder costs and keeping a log of their whereabouts.
  • Processing of sales orders and producing invoices.

  • Credit control – function – chasing credit via email, phone and Generic credit control duties
