Your new company

I have recently partnered with a leading supplier of Wind Turbine support in the wind energy industry, to recruit a new Account Manager due to company growth.

The company is a wind turbine service provider and its core purpose is to provide expert support to ensure that the wind industry continues to run without disruption, whether that be through maintenance of turbines, support with construction and installation, workforce provision, or ensuring all technicians are fully qualified and trained to the best quality.

Your new role

As an Account Manager, your primary responsibility will be to manage and grow relationships with existing key customers in the wind industry, focusing on both onshore and offshore markets. Your goal is to increase the share of the wallet by deeply understanding customer needs, providing exceptional service, and ensuring the company is positioned as a trusted partner for staffing and service solutions. This role requires a strong technical understanding of the wind energy sector and the ability to engage with stakeholders across various lifecycle stages, including Construction, Commissioning, Warranty, and Operations & Maintenance (O&M).

  • Act as a relationship builder for assigned customer accounts, establishing strong connections with key contacts in the company and customer peers to ensure alignment, satisfaction, and long-term retention.
  • Develop and execute detailed account plans to drive growth within existing accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and industry professionals.
  • Monitor market trends and customer challenges to identify opportunities for the company to expand its service offerings.
  • Work closely with internal teams to align customer needs with company capabilities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information within the company's CRM system.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience in the wind energy sector, preferably in account management or customer-facing roles.

  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to engage with both senior executives and operational teams.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and commercial awareness.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
