Temporary Administration Officer Job | Bangor | Public Sector Employer | 3–4 Months | £13.30 - £15ph DOE

Your new company

A government body which operates in the health & social care space, my client is a mid-sized organisation that operates in several locations across Wales.

Your new role

Working to support various managers across the region, you will be responsible for providing core administrative support to ensure the service operates smoothly. A bilingual organisation, you will be comfortable dealing with correspondence in both Welsh & English and supporting with incoming enquiries. Your duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Drafting correspondence
  • Reception support
  • Diary management and event coordination
  • Escalate FOI requests to the appropriate colleague.
  • Order stationery and receipt as needed
  • Maintain databases
  • Managing inboxes
You will be based in the Bangor Offices and be comfortable being fully office-based!

What you'll need to succeed

Prior experience of working with NHS services or in civil service roles would be highly advantageous for this post. You will be a confident administrator that is used to working in a self directed manner. A confident communicator in both Welsh & English, you will be able to interact with colleagues and service users easily. You will utilise your strong IT literacy skills daily by working across bespoke databases, as well as the standard MS Office packages inclusive of MS Teams & Outlook for diary management. Comfortable with the full range of team admin support, you will be flexible and adaptable to duties such as photocopying and scanning to supporting incoming visitors or arranging for meetings to be scheduled. Minute-taking skills would also be advantageous.

What you'll get in return

This post will offer full-time working hours, Monday–Friday, which are 37.5 hours per week. You will have an hourly rate of £13.30ph - £15ph DOE + holiday roll up additionally. You will have access to plenty of free on-site parking, and 3–4 months work with the possibility for further.
