Your new company
Is a leading manufacturing company based in Derry. They have appointed Hays to recruit a Maintenance Administrator / Coordinator for their team. This is an office-based role. Hours of work will be 8am to 5pm Mon to Thurs and 8am to 12pm on Fri.
Your new role
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, as Maintenance Administrator / Coordinator, you will provide administrative support to the team. You will ensure that all administration tasks are completed to the correct standard and in a timely manner. As Maintenance Administrator / Coordinator, you will attend department meetings, liaise with suppliers and contractors, set up, manage and maintain files and databases. You will schedule work for engineers, compile reports, keep team training records up to date and perform general administration duties. You will also be responsible for entering data accurately into spreadsheets, databases and other business systems, raising requests for quotations and raising purchase orders. You will build relationships across the factory, liaising with stores, engineering and other departments.
What you'll need to succeed
As Maintenance Administrator / Coordinator, it is essential that you have GCSE Maths & English at Grade C or above (or equivalent qualification) and previous experience in an Administration position. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with people at all levels across the business. You will be proficient in Microsoft suite and have excellent organisational / attention to detail skills with the ability to prioritise tasks in line with business requirements. You must be able to work as part of a team and use your own initiative.
