About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and DV Cleared Technical Architect with extensive experience in networking, cloud technologies, and bid management. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing robust technical solutions, ensuring they meet both client requirements and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architectural Design:
Develop and design comprehensive technical architectures for complex systems, ensuring scalability, security, and performance. - Networking:
Design and implement advanced networking solutions, including LAN, WAN, and VPN configurations. - Cloud Technologies:
Lead the deployment and management of cloud-based solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), ensuring seamless integration with existing systems. - Bid Management:
Collaborate with the sales and bid teams to create compelling technical proposals, ensuring alignment with client needs and organisational capabilities. - Security Compliance:
Ensure all solutions comply with relevant security standards and regulations, particularly those related to DV clearance. - Stakeholder Engagement:
Work closely with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical guidance. - Documentation:
Produce detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and operational procedures. - Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve existing solutions and processes.
Qualifications:
- Security Clearance:
DV (Developed Vetting) clearance is mandatory. - Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus. - Experience: Experience in technical architecture, with a strong focus on networking and cloud technologies.
- Technical Skills:
Proficiency in networking protocols, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools. - Bid Management:
Proven experience in contributing to and managing technical aspects of bids and proposals. - Soft Skills:
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
