Job Purpose:
As an Assistant Accountant, you will play a crucial role in preparing and reporting high-quality financial information. You will support the management of key month-end processes, provide financial analysis, and support various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cashflow Management and Reconciliation
- Contribute to the month and quarter-end close processes, including:
- Lease accounting
- Fixed assets
- Reconciliation
- Payroll postings and cost allocation
- Own and manage Balance Sheet accounts, ensuring control and understanding of balances
- Report and forecast cash flow
- Manage banking and investments in line with company guidelines
- Provide financial support and respond to ad-hoc requests from key stakeholders
- Ensure accurate P&L and Balance Sheet reporting
Key Skills and Experience:
- Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
- Excellent organisational skills
- Experience in accounting roles with transactional experience
- Proactive, flexible, and able to meet tight deadlines
