An urgent Assistant Financial Accountant role working for a leading local employer.

Your new role

The main duties of the role are as follows;

• Recording and analysing utility invoices.
• Process all invoices for payment including raising Purchase Orders.
• Undertaking account reconciliations to verify the correct account balances.
• Recover credits from suppliers in a timely manner.
• Maintaining an accurate record of utility meter numbers, locations and ensuring this reconciles to the ‘bulk utility contracts’.
• To support the Incomes and Systems Manager in the recovery of utility related service charges income.
• Analyse in year expenditure on Service Charges
• Support the Service Charge Accountant on billings and the production of statements.
• Assist with year and month end reviews

What you'll need to succeed

You will need to be AAT qualified or studying towards this qualification. You must also be able to demonstrate a strong MS Excel skill set and have knowledge of general ledger and journal entries.
