Are you a proactive and dynamic finance professional with extensive experience in assisting with the production of management accounts? Can you hit the ground running to provide valuable support to a Director of Finance? Interested in working for a passionate and highly regarded charity? If so, read on!
My client is offering a three-month contract to support the production of monthly management accounts, as well as to complete reconciliation work ahead of year-end. The role is based in Bristol on a hybrid basis.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, supporting P&L and balance sheet reporting.
- Help with variance analysis, identifying key trends and assisting in commentary for senior finance teams.
- Support balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and assisting in the resolution of discrepancies.
- Process invoices, accruals, and prepayments, maintaining accurate financial records.
- Work closely with the wider finance team to support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Assist with ad hoc financial reporting and analysis as required.
What you'll need to succeed
- Part Qualified finance professional ACA/ACCA/CIMA with accounts production experience
- Experience dealing with different types of entity and complex group structures
- Up to date technical accounting knowledge with experience of using this in reporting and a desire to keep abreast of current practise and legislative changes
- Excellent IT skills including advanced MS Excel Skills
- Self-starter who can demonstrate initiative
- Experience of working with Oracle is desirable
