We are currently recruiting for a global organisation who are looking for a Team Manager to manage a driven team who are making a local impact in Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole area. Their mission is to help individuals in their community to reach their full potential and are driven by the desire to positively impact the lives of vulnerable adults, children, young people, and families, providing a supportive environment to achieve this.


Your new role

They are commissioned to run Family Hub service for the local council's Early Help team. As the Family Help Team Manager, you will provide visionary leadership and management to ensure the success and continuous improvement of the Family Hub services.

  • Lead the Family Help Team to achieve success, accountability, and continuous improvement, meeting performance indicators and business strategies outlined in the SLA from the council.
  • Allocate work, manage, and supervise practitioners and volunteers to ensure a safe, efficient, and high-quality service.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for service improvement, ensuring children have the best start in life.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Recent experience working with children, young people, and their families, with a proven track record of developing innovative practices to improve outcomes.
  • Ability to work closely and non-judgementally with others, understanding boundaries and committing to equal opportunities and anti-discriminatory practice.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good IT skills.
  • Ability to prioritise competing demands, meet tight deadlines, coordinate workloads, and delegate tasks.
  • Strong understanding of early interventions, prevention, and safeguarding.
  • NVQ or Degree and/or Professional qualification in a relevant field such as Health, Social Care, Education, Housing, Family Work, Youth Work, or Police.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own car.
