Permanent Accounts Assistant job with an expanding company in Stockport.

Your new role
Working within the finance team, your main focus will be processing accounts payable invoices, resolving queries, preparing weekly and monthly payment runs and statement reconciliation. You will also perform bank reconciliation and assist the credit controller in chasing customers for outstanding payments as well as any other ad-hoc finance duties as and when required.
What you'll need to succeed
This position will be varied and busy. Therefore, it is expected you will have a recent track record in accounts payable, ideally with other accounts skills too, including credit control. A confident and presentable person is essential along with excellent communication skills in order to make proactive telephone calls to customers. Strong attention to detail with a conscientious attitude to wanting to make a difference within the team and company.
