Hays is recruiting on behalf of a private-sector client based in Birmingham City Centre. They are looking to bring someone onto the team to manage the accounts and support with running the office.

Your new role

This role is for a through and through bookkeeper who has a substantial amount of experience in several areas of transactional finance. You will be a key figurehead in assisting with the finances of the company as well as other duties such as office management.

What you'll need to succeed

An example of a successful application will include:
- Substantial experience as a bookkeeper or Accounts Assistant
- Comfortability with both the purchase and sales ledger
- Experience/Ability in Credit Control
- Ability to go to the office for most days
- Office management experience (desirable)

What you'll get in return

- £30K salary
- Ability to work hybrid after probation
