Job Title: Retrofit Assessor
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne and surrounding parts of the North East
Job Type: Permanent, Field-Based
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum

The aim is to create sustainable, comfortable, and energy-efficient homes for communities across the North East. We are responsible for installing measures such as insulation, efficient heating and renewable technologies.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Retrofit Assessor to join our team. In this field-based role, you will be responsible for assessing properties, identifying energy efficiency improvements, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct and deliver comprehensive Energy Performance Certificates, Retrofit Assessments and other technical assessments
  • Identify and recommend energy efficiency improvements and retrofitting solutions.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation for each assessment, including photographic documentation
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to implement retrofit measures.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Providing expert advice and support to residents, resolving any issues that arise during a visit and providing a good level of customer service
Requirements:
  • DEA accreditation and at least 3 years' DEA experience
  • Retrofit assessor level 3 or 4 with proven experience as a Retrofit Assessor
  • Asbestos Awareness
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and manage a field-based workload.
  • Full and valid UK driving licence.
