AAT Qualified or Part-Qualified accountant job in Ipswich - 80% remote

You will be AAT qualified or part-qualified (Study support is available) and be able to manage your own portfolio and projects.
Key Skills:
- Experience in managing a portfolio of clients, including partnerships and sole traders
- Proficiency in personal tax preparation
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Knowledge of accounting packages including Xero, IRIS GP accounts, and Sage is desirable
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan the delivery of work on your portfolio, prepare high-quality files for manager review
- Proactively seek support from peers and managers for complex issues
- Liaise with clients to resolve queries before submitting accounts for manager review
- Act as the day-to-day contact for your allocated portfolio
- Manage junior team members' work, providing briefings and performance monitoring
- Work as part of a team to provide ad-hoc accounting assistance and ensure excellent client service
- Complete client-take-on procedures for new clients, including preparing engagement letters for manager and partner review
- Attend year-end client meetings with the Partner/Manager to develop client relationships
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified or part-qualified Accountant or equivalent experience
- Solid accountancy experience required
- Experience in working collaboratively in a team to deliver projects
