Call Handler - Nightshift | Temporary Appointment | Up to £19.10/ hour

Call Handler - Nightshift

Location: Coatbridge

Shift Pattern: 19:00-07:00, 4 days on/4 days off

Main Responsibilities:

Responding to Enquiries : Handle public enquiries via telephone courteously and efficiently, providing relevant information or forms, or referring to the appropriate staff member or agency.

Policy Compliance : Ensure adherence to all Anti-Social Behaviour policies and procedures within the organisation.

Customer Assistance : Address customer enquiries, providing information and assistance as needed using relevant management reporting and logging systems.

Information Recording : Record information and maintain filing systems for all enquiries received and processed.

Report Production : Produce typed reports and correspondence using Windows-based software packages.

Data Management : Input and extract data using computer packages such as Microsoft Word, Access, and Excel.

Confidentiality : Maintain and protect confidentiality by ensuring all files (manual and computerised), records, and correspondence are handled in a confidential manner.

Training Participation : Participate in training courses as required.

Health and Safety Compliance : Comply with organisation’s Health and Safety at Work procedures and relevant legislation, ensuring safe systems of work are used at all times.

Customer Care : Maintain high standards of customer care in line with company values, uphold the Equality and Diversity Policy, and Health and Safety standards, and participate in training activities as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Access, Excel)

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially

Experience in a customer service or call handling role is preferred
