Your New Role
I am looking for an Internal Communications Manager for three months to deliver upon an internal communications programme. Working as part of the Communications & Corporate Affairs team, this role will work closely with the communication lead for both Streams and stakeholders in the Streams to deliver internal communications to inform and engage employees around the strategy and plan for each Stream.

The role will sit in the Internal Communications team and report to the communications lead for Deals and Consulting, Risk & Outsourcing. This is a hybrid role (two days in office), based out of their Baker Street office in London.

    • Work closely with the Stream Lead to drive the delivery of the Stream internal communications programme to engage colleagues in each stream.
    • Have oversight of activity across both Streams and be proactive in sharing knowledge and best practice from each.
    • Ensure that all Stream communications align with the firm’s vision, strategy, and internal engagement.
    • Support key stakeholders in the Streams to create and deliver creative communications plans to educate our people and/or drive behaviour change and ensure key stakeholders are informed of activity, progress, challenges, and results.
    • Develop relationships and build communities to involve people appropriately in the strategy and plan and increase understanding of how every role contributes to it.
    • Further embed the internal communications framework in each stream so that our communications channels are used to the best effect, drawing on current best practice as well as new techniques.
    • A clear understanding of how to effectively operate a comprehensive channel matrix, including digital campaigns.
    • Understand – and help to deliver leadership & strategy comms and engagement activity, including strategy events, partner calls etc.
    • Respond at speed to emerging communications needs as well as tactical demands. Act as a first point of contact to triage all communications requests of the team, and to liaise with suppliers.
    • Link in with and leverage from the central IC team on priorities, messages, channels, and communications sequencing.
    • Define and gather campaign metrics and measurement. Compile monthly measurement dashboards, balancing quantitative and qualitative feedback, as part of our firmwide IC measurement programme.

What you'll need to succeed

    • 5+ years of experience in external communications, with a strong background in producing and managing content across various platforms.
    • Proven track record in organizing successful events that align with strategic goals, as such, strong business acumen will be important.
    • Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft clear, compelling messages.
    • Experience working closely with senior management to ensure alignment with company goals and strategy.
    • Meticulous attention to detail, especially when juggling a high volume of work
    • Excellent diplomacy and negotiation skills to deal with colleagues, building trust and rapport to motivate others
