Recruitment Consultant Technology Permanent Market
Hays City Technology focusses on 6 core technology centric markets, that are at the forefront of the longstanding constant technical evolution. Data, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Cloud and DevOps, Software Development, Projects and Change within Central London, and we are looking to continue to build our team with experienced consultants who have an interest in Technology and would like to develop their career within the Technology sector.
The Permanent Technology team is a long-established team that focusses on clients within the Financial Services industry and, alongside that, Commerce and Industry, such as Insurance, Consultancy and Legal, to name but a few.
Based in the Flagship London Cheapside office, the team has been operating in the Tech market for many years and naturally from that presence comes a wealth of long-term sustainable relationships with both clients and candidates which you will look to capitalise and build upon. In line with existing client relationships, we are constantly looking to develop new and fresh relationships with new clients. You will be required to develop these relationships as they will be integral to your desk growth and development.
As an experienced consultant, you will have demonstrable experience and be required to :
- Network within the relevant Technical Community and ecosystem to develop strong relationships with clients and candidates.
- Building a candidate community
- Promoting your own personal brand as well as Hays as a leading Recruiter within your field.
- Generating, identifying, and acting upon prospective business leads.
- Sourcing and screening high-quality permanent candidates.
- Owning and completing all tasks associated with the end-to-end recruitment of a permanent recruitment professional, inclusive of winning new business / logos, negotiating terms, delivering appropriate talent through to closing deals with clients and candidates.
- Providing excellent service and aftercare while achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A proven track record of billings
- Desire for success and self-motivation
- An inquisitive nature
- Experience of consulting with customers, both clients / candidates, and influencing where necessary.
- An ability to stand out from the crowd and a resilient approach to sales.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, excellent communication, and a highly self-motivated attitude.
- An ethical, professional, and organised approach to recruitment.
